Jaime Tanada, Undergraduate Research Assistant
My name is Jaime (jay-mee) and I’m a senior psychology major. I entered Butler University as a Health Sciences student but switched to Psychology at the end of my sophomore after taking more psychology prerequisites for fun. I mainly have a strong interest in both social psychology and behavior, and I want to know more about how these principles can be applied in real-world settings like advertising and workplace dynamics. Generally, I’ve found myself interested in the effects of social support on psychological well-being as well as the intersection of mental health, intellectual/ developmental disabilities, and workplace accommodations. I’m thrilled to join the research lab to deepen my understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion through interactive learning tools!
